This webinar series focuses on fighting against "preparations for war" in Asia, the Pacific and Latin America, hearing from various countries about the impact of war preparations including war games, military staging, bases expansion, mass sexual violence, on neo-colonies of the U.S. and independence struggles. Join us for an exchange between people on the front lines of today's escalating US military expansion and hyper militarization - focusing on Asia, the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean. We will highlight grassroots resistance to U.S. wars today, on how the people in the global south are being affected today by major rivalry and build up to war between the U.S. and China. The goal is to strengthen solidarity among the different fights and lay the basis for joint campaigns against U.S. war build up, exercises and bases and to support "U.S. Out" campaigns. Each country has particular conditions and each plays a particular role in the U.S. war strategy, so each people, in fighting against the U.S. military towards genuine sovereignty and just peace, also has a particular role to play.
